As a Committee, we are delighted with the progress which has been made so far, and are most grateful for the enthusiastic help we have received from so many volunteers.
The focus of our efforts is currently the first floor of the building which will provide private accommodation for either a Manager or Chef, or possibly both, if we can find a suitable couple.
Prior to commencing work on the downstairs refurbishment it is our hope that we might be able to open the pub for a low-key evening, with a simple bar, just before Christmas. However, there are several legal requirements which we have yet to overcome to make this possible. As soon as we are in a position to confirm a date we will let you know.
