Diss Express photographer is wanting a photoshoot outside the pub tomorrow afternoon at 3pm with as many Cross Keys supporters as possible. Please come along if you’re available.
Following three months of hard work, we are delighted to advise you that the Cross Keys will be opening again on Saturday 3rd March at 5:30pm. Due to the large number of supporters anticipated, we will only be serving drinks for the first few days.
Meals will become available from lunchtime on Wednesday 7th March. To avoid disappointment, please reserve a table by telephoning 01379 779822.
Our General Manager has been drawing up outline rotas for both volunteer bar staff and volunteer restaurant staff. There are possibilities for both daytime and evening shifts. If you are interested in becoming involved and helping out in either of these two areas, we would be pleased to hear from you over the course of the next week.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01379 779822
Does anyone have, or know anyone who has, any really old photographs of the Cross Keys from yesteryear which they would be happy for us to have reproduced and possibly display within the pub? If you have, please mail
Our grateful thanks for all the time and effort which so many of you have put in to the re-decoration of the pub over the past few weeks. Your commitment has been second to none…. and with no sign of enthusiasm waning at all!
We had such an impressive turnout of volunteers this past week that huge strides were made, and we are now rapidly running out of jobs to keep everyone busy. As a result, it would be helpful if you would be kind enough to let us know what your availability is over the course of the next week – what hours you could do, if need be, and on which day(s). Please email availability to email@example.com
From now on, due to the diminishing number of jobs which need attention, we would be grateful if volunteers would not just turn up, but wait to be contacted.
The Redgrave Community Society Management Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of a Management Couple for the Cross Keys. Miss Georgina Earland will be joining as General Manager, and Miss Naomi Miller-Howard as the Chef. Georgina and Naomi have worked together for several years at the prestigious four star Pelham House Hotel in Lewes, Sussex.
Prior to Pelham House, Georgina was a trainee general manager for the Nelson Coffee Company. She joins us with a wealth of experience in the co-ordination of events, as well as front of house, and bar and cellar management experience.
Prior to Pelham House Hotel, Naomi was previously head chef at Revolución de Cuba and prior to that, a private senior chef for the NAAFI in Germany, cooking for high profile functions including visiting royalty and German diplomats.
We now look forward to enjoying their undoubted professionalism and expertise here at the Cross Keys and wish them a warm welcome. They will commence employment on Monday 22nd January to help with the planning and preparation of the Cross Keys prior to its opening.
Further details on the official opening will be advertised in due course.
